Warranty Policy

This policy explains the warranty coverage for RedTrack GPS tracking devices.


1. Warranty Duration

All RedTrack devices come with a 12-month hardware warranty starting from the date of delivery.


2. What the Warranty Covers

We will repair or replace a device free of charge if it develops a fault caused by:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Internal component failure

  • Normal, non-abusive use

Replacement devices may be new or refurbished.


3. What the Warranty Does NOT Cover

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Incorrect installation or wiring

  • Connection to an improper power source

  • Opening or tampering with the device

  • Water, moisture, or weather exposure

  • Physical damage (drops, impact, crush damage)

  • Corrosion or battery swelling caused by misuse

  • Software modification or firmware flashing

  • Damage caused by third-party SIMs or configurations

Any device showing signs of tampering will void the warranty immediately.


4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

Email us at support@redtrack.uk with:

  • Your name

  • Order number

  • Device IMEI

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos or videos of the fault (if possible)

We may require the device to be returned for inspection.


5. Inspection & Outcome

Once inspected, we will:

  • Approve a repair

  • Approve a replacement

  • Deny the claim (if damage is excluded under Section 3)

If denied, we can return the item to you at your expense.


6. Warranty on Replacements

Replacement devices continue with the remainder of the original warranty, not a new 12 months.


7. Software & App Services

This warranty covers hardware only.

It does not cover:

  • Subscription services

  • SIM services

  • App functionality

  • Server uptime

  • Data loss

These are governed by your Terms & Conditions and Terms of Use.
